40th Anniversary Leadership Celebration
The Heritage Foundation opened its doors in 1973. Forty years later, it is one of America’s most important think tanks. The lion’s share of the credit for Heritage’s extraordinary impact goes to Dr. Edwin J. Feulner, who steps down this April, after 36 years of devoted service. Today, as Senator Jim DeMint prepares to take the helm, our movement faces some of its gravest challenges ever – and Heritage’s role will be more important than ever.
At our President’s Club meeting and 40th Anniversary Leadership Celebration, we celebrated our history and laid the groundwork for future victories. The event featured panels and discussions with some of America’s top conservative policy experts, commentators, lawmakers, and journalists, including Senator Ted Cruz and Pulitzer Prize-winning syndicated columnist and commentator Charles Krauthammer.
