Michael A. Needham
Michael Needham is the Chief Executive Officer of Heritage Action for America. He is responsible for setting the long-term strategy and vision for Heritage Action and overseeing all of its policy decisions. Michael has previously held several positions within The Heritage Foundation, including Chief of Staff and Advisor to the President. Michael holds an MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and received his bachelor’s degree in political science and economics from Williams College.
The Honorable David Schweikert
David Schweikert was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2010 and is currently serving Arizona’s 6th district. He was raised in Scottsdale, where he attended Cocopah Elementary School, Saguaro High School, and Arizona State University. At ASU, David earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and real estate as well as an MBA. Before being elected to Congress, David served as Treasurer of Maricopa County and in the Arizona State House of Representatives, representing Scottsdale and Fountain Hills.
The Honorable John B. Shadegg
John Shadegg is a partner at Steptoe & Johnson where he specializes in government affairs and public policy. He was born in Phoenix and received his BA and JD from the University of Arizona. John was elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 1994 and served eight terms before retiring from Congress in 2010. Congressman Shadegg served from 2000 to 2002 as Chairman of the Republican Study Committee (RSC) and in 2004 as Chairman of the House Republican Policy Committee. He currently is a Distinguished Fellow at Heritage Action for America.
